About Synbrig
Small team, serious engineering
Synbrig is a small engineering team in Austin, Texas. We design and build websites, online stores, and web apps for growing businesses, and we look after them once they are live.
Our story
Why we started Synbrig
We kept meeting teams who had paid for software twice: once to build it, then again to make it work. Closing that gap is why Synbrig exists.
Synbrig was started by software engineers and builders who kept seeing the same problem: projects built on inflated promises, vague deliverables, and code that collapsed under real usage.
We set out to operate differently: scope defined clearly, technology choices justified, and success measured by whether the thing actually works.
Our team spans design, full stack development, data systems, and cloud infrastructure, and we build AI systems for larger clients too. That combined depth is why a booking system or a payment integration is not the hard part of our week, and why you are not paying us to stitch together contractors.
What we build
Engineering philosophy
How we think about building
Four rules that decide what we do when the easy answer and the right answer disagree.
Decisions we can defend
We make technology decisions based on what works in production, not what trends on social media. Every architectural choice is justified by a real requirement.
Reliability by design
Observability, error handling, and graceful degradation are built in from day one. Our systems are transparent about what they do and honest when they fail.
Full cycle ownership
From architecture to deployment and beyond. We take end to end responsibility for the systems we ship, so we care about operational outcomes, not just code delivery.
No unnecessary complexity
We write code that does exactly what it needs to. No over engineered abstractions, no unnecessary dependencies, no bloat introduced for its own sake.
